Awaken in the tranquil clearing of a dark and unfamiliar forest and become acquainted with its only friendly inhabitant: a suspicious and mysterious witch who offers to make you stronger for the small price of a portion of the very essence that keeps you alive. 

Slay the monsters of the forest to gain more life force and offer your health in exchange for a sharper blade, lighter feet, and powerful new abilities. Use your newfound abilities to take on stronger and more deadly enemies, and venture deeper into the enchanted forest.
